Butt welds cannot be identified by simple detectors such as light barriers or proximity switches. EddyTech’s Dynamic Flaw Detector locates butt welds using eddy current testing methods and then transmits a signal to the control unit.
The DFD system is available in multi-channel configurations to allow for centralized control of any number of testing locations.
